Raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Steve Kimme-Hea now lives and works in the new urbanist community of Civano in Tucson, Arizona. An engineer by trade, Steve enjoys the design aspects of his metal art, but he also loves getting involved in the hands-on process of forming the metal and welding his pieces. Some pieces are experiments and others are inspired by clients with whom he works. Steve is willing to take on new challenges and work with clients to create unique pieces. One of his recent projects was working on a piece for the Tucson Extreme Makeover home.

Steve also enjoys time with his family. You might find him out walking or biking in the community, but he is just as likely to be playing with his 9 year-old son or his 2 year-old daughter, or spending time with his wife.
