I am not an artist. I love to create 'art' but, often times, that just happens on its own. Claiming the title of 'Artist' creates a sense of discomfort with me. It's a title that carries quite a bit of prestige with it and is sometimes abused by those that don't deserve it. I prefer to call myself a metal-fabricator because everything I create has to have a considerable amount of effort put into it. I want my clients to know that I didn't just slap a couple pieces of scrap metal together and am now calling it art with an expensive price tag to match. Art is subjective but, let's not be fooled, it really has to speak to you on a personal level and not on the level that society dictates.
